About Us

In the years leading up to 2019, Zionsville Little League (ZLL) had provided a platform for players who had aged out of Little League but still harbored a passion for the game. ZLL-sponsored teams engaged in friendly competitions against neighboring towns, fostering camaraderie both in Zionsville and beyond.

In 2018, recognizing a shift in focus towards younger age groups, ZLL chose to redirect its resources. Undeterred, a group of dedicated fathers took the initiative to maintain the legacy of the teams. They joined the Plainfield Teen Baseball league to ensure continuity for players who still aspired to play beyond Little League.

Fast forward to 2020, and our team underwent a transformation, rebranding as the “Outsiders.” The name change reflected our inclusive approach, welcoming players from various towns. Interestingly, this decision set a trend within the league, prompting other teams to adopt non-town-specific names.

Today, the Outsiders operate independently, sustained solely by the dedication of our coaches and the generous contributions from our families. Our ethos revolves around the belief that baseball should be a source of joy and a valuable learning experience. Far removed from the pressures of travel ball, our focus is not solely on winning but on fostering a love for the game. Join us in championing the spirit of baseball for the sheer joy and passion it brings!.
